DVF LOVES GAP


Diane Von Furstenberg follows in the footsteps of a number of high-end fashion names who have worked with Gap. Roland Mouret, Valentino and Stella McCartney have all partnered with Gap. Stella McCartney's collaboration of kidswear, which included wellingtons and cashmere leggings, was such a hit that the British designer was able to use the collaboration as a springboard and went on to launch a childrenswear line for her own. The collection will come out in March 2012, and will be for children up to the age of 12.

YOUNG VERSACE TO LAUNCH

In 2004, Versace closed its Versace Young line. And now, eight years later, Collection for Spring 2012, Versace will introduce Young Versace, a children's wear line aimed at kids from infancy to the age of twelve. Gian Giacomo Ferraris,CEO of Versace SpA, says that this new line is "a high-end, glamorous and colorful collection in line with the brand's essence, with a touch of rock 'n' roll." Young Versace will offer a full collection that complements Versace's current line. "The label's iconic symbols, such as the Greek frieze and the Medusa, will be reinterpreted with a sense of irony and fun prints in natural fabrics."
