Stella McCartney launches a super cool kids clothing line. The collection ranges from infancy to age 12, starting with unixes organic cotton onesies and separates in berry hues. The line is the perfect mix of basics and totally adorable pieces, including items that are unisex. StellaMcCartneyKids.com will host playful features and a unique shopping experience, including a "playground section" inviting a community of parents and kids to interact on the site.

GUCCI LAUNCHES CHILDREN'S COLLECTION

Jennifer Lopez and twins are the new faces of Gucci. The latest fashions by Gucci consist of Spring and Summer wear for 2011. The clothing will be available at 40 Gucci retail locations worldwide. As a lush treat, each clothing item will be marked with a new emblem: a golden teddy bear above the trademark GUCCI signature.

The PetitePARADE: Kids Fashion Week 2010

Kids Strut The Runway: The first-ever petitePARADE kicked off NYC's FASHION NIGHT OUT with a shared runway experience. Roberto Cavalli, Sonial Rykiel, Simonetta and Charbia hit the catwalk together, featuring pint-sized models who introduced the new looks from the designers' Spring 2011 collections. Other designers included: Inca Girls, Custo Growing, Monnalisa, MissGrant, Love Therapy and Baby Angel by Fiorucci.

MACY'S LAUNCHES GIFT SHOPS

The shops offer cool products such as a baby onesie decorated with skull and crossbones, two for $20; fat Digitime digital watches in Day-Glo colors, $36, and a set of three false eyelashes, $18. There's an array of products, including enamel jewelry and makeup cases from Kitson, the popular Los Angeles store that sells labels such as Halston Heritage and Brian Lichtenberg. The merchandise is split equally between men and women. The merchandise is divided into six categories with corresponding icons displayed on tables and fixtures. The Gift Shops will be rolled out to 400 Macy’s units.

In addition to the Gift Shops, Macy’s is launching celebrity gifting nooks with items created for the retailer by brands such as Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, Donald Trump, Jessica Simpson, Kenneth Cole, Martha Stewart, Michael Kors, Rachel Roy, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. International Gift Shops will open in 25 stores with offerings that will include handwoven baskets from Rwanda, Maasai jewelry from East Africa, painted wooden trays from Indonesia and traditional Haitian artisan home decor products.
